PM announces COVID-19 Winter Plan

Boris Johnson, today, 23 November, announced in Parliament, a COVID-19 Winter Plan which provides a roadmap out of national lockdown in England from 2 December.

In his statement, the Prime Minister outlined a return to a revamped three-tier system adhering to a uniform set of rules, stating that there will be no negotiation with individual regions.

It is expected that more regions will be in higher levels than before and details of which areas are in which tiers, will be announced on Thursday 26 November.
