NAVA Code of Practice and
Independent Redress for Chattels Auctioneers
As of 31 December 2011, it will be a requirement of NAVA
membership for all Principal, Partners and Directors to ensure that
their company is also a member of The Property Ombudsman Scheme
(TPOS) or Ombudsman Services : Property (OS:P).Those organisations
joining TPOS as a result of this requirement will be required to
agree to the Valuers and Auctioneers General Membership
Obligations, which can be found here.

Those NAVA members whose organizations are regulated by RICS may
already be registered with the OS:P and may therefore not need to
take any further action.
